a-tune Training Videos
In order to give you a clearer understanding of how to fill out the a-tune online submission form, we have produced several videos addressing some of the main procedures you will encounter.
Locate and Open a Protocol
This video will demonstrate where to find IACUC and IBC protocols in the a-tune software and how to open them.
Checking Out and Editing Protocols
This video will demonstrate two ways to check out a protocol, which makes them editable.
Adding Animal Numbers and Validation Check
This video will demonstrate how to fill in the Species tab's USDA Pain Category table and the Animal Numbers tab. It will also demonstrate how to perform an animal numbers validation check.
Sign and Submit a Protocol for Review
This video will demonstrate how to sign and submit a protocol for review.
Please remember that in order to access the online submission form, you must first request access. Use this Excel file to enter any personnel you will want to be included in a-tune for your protocols. This email request must be from the PI or the PI must be copied on it. Only personnel requested by the PI will be entered into the Production environment. The system administrators must add users to the a-tune software before personnel, including the PI, are allowed access to the system. Please send these requests to the IACUC office at email@example.com.
